Ninth Annual Catholic Lobby Day
People of faith who have a desire to raise their voices in “sincere dialogue, seeking the common good” will be interested in Catholic Lobby Day.
For the ninth year, the California Catholic Conference (CCC) is hosting Catholics from all over California who are interested in exercising their “faithful citizenship” in their state’s Capitol. All who are interested in meeting with elected officials to speak on behalf of those who are poor, vulnerable or voiceless are welcome.
Join with representatives from various diocesan ministries and lay organizations for the one-day event on April 24 that will include information sessions, a rally at the Capitol, visits with legislators and a Mass at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament.
Cost is $5. Registration is required.
Call Joan Harper in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Office of Justice and Peace at (213) 637-7560 for more information or to register.
